Well, we had a horrible tragedy happen to Cedar this weekend. I'm sure everyone's heard about it on the news. We had a neighbor involved, Dr/Bro. Ellsworth was a counselor in our Bishopric. We feel so sad for our ward and community. The Ellsworths really helped Jason and I with Youth Conference a ton. They were right there beside us for the 7-8 months of planning and were such great examples to us. They were our mentors for that, and what amazing people! And I know that they have touched many lives in our ward. It's hard when something like this happens because you just feel helpless--what can you say to make it better? Not much...But we just are so grateful for the Ellsworth family and the examples they are. Our ward is like our family. Jason and I have only been here for a year and already were touched by Bro. Ellsworth's example and leadership, I can only imagine how everyone else is feeling. Our love, support, and prayers are with the Ellsworths and the other families involved! It's nice to know that all the people in the crash are in a better place. Here is a link to the blog for the families: http://www.cedarcondolences.blogspot.com/

That is so sad. The girl from Hurricane was in Chet's home ward growing up and her dad was his bishop who helped him with preparing for his mission and everything. I am sorry for the loss to your ward too. Although it is hard its nice to know they are in a better place preparing for a different kind of mission.
Hey Candace.. That is so sad. I went to EFY with Dallin a really long time ago. He was such a neat guy.
