Crazy weeks!

4:56 PM

This is the first of 3 updates...even though we finally have the internet, apparently I just have a hard time keeping up! But the last few weeks have been crazy! So about 3 weeks ago, my running partner and friend Laurice and her hubby went to Ethiopia to adopt 2 new kids (who are adorable!) One's 6 and one's 3-they are still learning English. Well, Jason and I stayed with her children she already has while they were gone. We had so much fun! The ages are 7, 10, 13 (2 days ago!) and 16. The first Monday we played at Discovery Park, which is the coolest park for kids ever! Then Tuesday I made the girls watch American Idol and Jason took River (the son) bowling. Wednesday was movie night, and Thursday night we made this sign. Altogether we hung out about a week and a half excluding weekends. We had lots of fun! And then in between that we went to Jason's sister's graduation-Kaylee. She is probaby going to come live with us in the fall, and we're way excited! :) And here's the fun part...pictures!

Candice! How is the Masters program? Are you doing education? Really when I come home I think I might start it up. Washington is getting better but I'm not a lifer.

Well you should be ready for quadruplets now. :) I'm sure the kids had a blast with you guys. About the marathon, I have actually been looking into it a little. I have a neighbor who wants me to train with her but I will probably wait until Liz is a few months older.

So that sounds like a lot of fun. I actually like babysitting now that Chet and I tag team it and we get to play with our cute nieces and nephews. We really need to do something. I will have to think of something and give you a call.
