One of my patients today had very severe perio. It was so sad. She really wanted to keep her teeth, and they are just hanging on by a thread. She keeps them pretty clean, but there was definitely more calculus than a 1B, but it was cleaner than a lot of people I've seen. I hope that the teeth that are really loose don't fall out when I scale them!
